On the 7^th of December Anaeko in association with Digital Leaders, hosted a roundtable. The goal of the event was to bring together key stakeholders to explore the potential for delivering all-island cancer data infrastructure, aligning with the All-Island eHealth Hub for Cancer, a €4M Hub of Excellence funded through the Higher Education Authority’s North South Research Programme. The primary focus of the event was to define the core data infrastructure and identify partners willing to help pump-prime this initiative.

The purpose of the UK public sector and the NHS is to provide services that benefit all citizens and  patients, while also  managing these services, on a day - to - day basis .  Yet many organisations within the public sector and the NHS can not  do this as efficiently as they should  because they don’t have a full 360 degree view of their data  or "One Source of the Truth" . They m ay not have the skills, tools or permission to access and interpret data that could help them achieve their purpose more effectively. This was  one of the main reasons  why the Government announced its Shared Services Strategy in 2021.

MIT Technology Review’s flagship conference ‘EmTech Europe’ will be hosted virtually from Belfast in 2021, bringing together Europe’s brightest and best technology leaders, researchers, and innovators for inspiration, insight, and connection. Anaeko will be present at the event on the NI Pavilion, providing  the opportunity for us to showcase the company’s capability and expertise in the field of digital technology.
